ELENA DAWSON
Elena Dawson likes patinated and worn-out fabrics, overlaying skirts, and shoes that tell a story. Somewhere between Lord Byron and Tim Burton, her garments exude a unique retro-gothic energy.
Smitten with fashion and History, Dawson has been creating garments like so many reminiscences of past atmospheres, finding her inspiration in the 19th century wardrobe. She started without knowing where her inspirations would take her, and has become one of the most surprising English designers. In 2000, she co-founded Paul Harnden Clothiers.
